Karri Lucas is the owner of Duck on a Pond Entertainment, a creative content production company.  Karri has produced, directed and written content for the Emmy winning series BETTER CALL SAUL and BREAKING BAD, the critically acclaimed first season of Netflix’s THIRTEEN REASONS WHY, the hugely popular OUTLANDER on Starz, Paramount’s surprise summer hit BOOK CLUB, Nora Ephron's final film JULIE & JULIA and many more.  

 

Most recently Karri produced a holiday video for KATY PERRY and a promotional video for one of UCLA’s biggest events called “Exploring Your Universe.”  In conjunction with the above, she is currently the producer for SYFY WIRE’s Los Angeles based premiere and junket digital featurettes.

 

Prior to launching her company, Karri was part of the Sony Home Entertainment content team for almost a decade, overseeing the creation of exclusive features for hundreds of films and television shows including THE BLACKLIST, WHIPLASH, JUSTIFIED, STILL ALICE, THE GOLDBERGS, LAWRENCE OF ARABIA, and the MONTY PYTHON catalog, to name just a few.  

 

Karri’s expertise in film & television production, Home Entertainment and marketing was built through time working at companies like Warner Bros., MTV, Gracie Films and Alcon Entertainment.
